| 1. At the time of signature or when depositing its instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession any State may declare that it reserves the right to restrict the retransmission on its territory, solely to the extent that it does not comply with its domestic legislation, of programme services containing advertising for alcoholic beverages according to the rules provided for in Article 15, paragraph 2, of this Convention. | 1. | 2. A reservation made in accordance with the preceding paragraph may not be the subject
of an objection.

| 3. Any Contracting State which has made a reservation under paragraph 1 may wholly
or partly withdraw it by means of a notification addressed to the Secretary General
of the Council of Europe. The withdrawal shall take effect on the date of receipt
of such notification by the Secretary General.

| 4. A Party which has made a reservation in respect of a Provision of this Convention
may not claim the application of that provision by any other Party; it may, however,
if its reservation is partial or conditional, claim the application of that Provision
in so far as it has itself accepted it.
